BC Bee Atlas

Building the Bee Atlas

The BC Native Bee Society launched the BC Bee Atlas as a pilot program in 2021 with just a few volunteers. We now have 45 Apprentice level Master Melittologists ready to contribute observations to the Bee Atlas database in 2024. Here's how YOU can join the BC Bee Atlas and help us protect BC's wild bees and unique ecosystems.

Master Melittologist training

Master Melittologist training for BC participants is offered through Oregon State University Extension Services in collaboration with the Native Bee Society of BC.
