Building the Bee Atlas

The BC Native Bee Society launched the BC Bee Atlas as a pilot program in 2021 with just a few volunteers. We now have over 75 Apprentice-level Master Melittologists ready to contribute observations to the Bee Atlas database in 2026. Here's how YOU can join the BC Bee Atlas and help us protect BC's wild bees and unique ecosystems.
